hey that's great. Sorry didn't notice that there's already fissiden on the DW. Give it some time to grow, i'm sure it will look great in your tank with your moss
if your tank no standard than mine is lousy + no standard liao.Originally Posted by zenscape

Of course you couldn't see as my picture is so horribly fuzzy and blurred. The fissidens are not on the bog wood but on rocks. I intend to grow more of them to spread them out on some wood.Originally Posted by kemp

agree.
we have master hii to help with the editing, then submitting for ADA 06 would definitely stand a greater chance
great gesture from you hii bro!

That 2.5ft tank is really eye-catching. Is there a full front shot? Post it in a seperate thread!
You have skills man.
Good suggestion, my current photo taken after bubbling, the surface of the water got too much bubble not nice. Never think of that ...Originally Posted by ranmasatome

But the problem is after light on the fish still blur and sleepy and body color look unclear... only after 1 hrs they fully wake up than plants start bubbling even no CO2 injection...how to solve this expert mod?
I can use photoshop to clear all the bubble but if more than few thousands than eyes pop out...![]()
Pearling is saturation of O2 in the water.. so..less O2.. less pearling...When plants make food.. they give out oxygen..so...lower the rate they photosynthesize..
For the kiasu singaporean..do this 24hrs b4 shoot.. i'm quite sure will have no bubbles.
IF you are doing co2 injection.. then stop it.
IF no co2 then no problems this no worries.
Lights cut down by half and switch on 2 hrs before photoshoot. So you solve both problems.. fish have nice colour and plants have open leaves and still dont bubble so much.
Also i'm not expert mod.
Equipment removal is good also when taking pic..![]()
Wow. never knew so much preparation needed to get a good picture..Originally Posted by ranmasatome

Terence, which 2.5 feet you are talking about? Personally I like the koi angel tank. Has been with me for a year and everything runs smoothly. However, this tank is getting too crowded. Will be giving away some fishes.Originally Posted by |squee|
Both are front shots but i guess not "full".. my photographic skill is zero. I believe there is some sort of wide len or something. My coolpix just aim and shoot type, can throw away.

Nice moss tank, may I know what are the mosses in your tank and what is the water temperature?
my simple preparation before shooting took 2 hrs already, just to remove all the equipment and clean the front glass. than is time for fish to swim around with their true color liao.Originally Posted by zenscape
a simple way to get your fish swim together is ... appear suddenly at the side of the tank and they will all swim to one side and quickly take photo ... hahadon't do it too often else they stress and hide into plants than ....

That is the tip of the iceberg...there is also glass cleaning, flora placement, water clarity, light placement, fauna placement and then the big headache.. light containing.Originally Posted by zenscape
Ivan- for the 4ft tank, there are weeping, erect, peacock, spiky, taiwan. temperature is 25-26 degree.
For the bottom 2.5 feet- pure spiky moss, temp-29 degree (using fan). Spiky doing very well even with this temperature, don't know why.
For the koi tank, no moss as there is a gang of SAEs there!
Hii- thanks, I received your PM. I have a dinner meeting with clients tonight. Will try to arrange something if possible. I don't think i can submit anything in time for the contest.
Ranmasatome- i think i still have a long way to go to learn more things about photography. Maybe i should learn for a year before i take part in next year's contest. In any event, the tanks are still not up to the mark.
For those who have taken part in this year's contest, wish you all the best and I hope you can do our country proud![]()

my photography skill also suck lar... but if you know how to use photoshop it will help a lot.. hehe
Last night tried again to take another shot. I think it is still bad photography. But i like the fish's formation following the curve of the wood![]()
