There is no type 1~3 for this hairgrass.I think you have mistaken it for the types of Eriocaulon Sp.

This Japanese hairgrass is aka Eleocharis acicularis(L.)Roem.et Schult.var.acicularis as per Aquarium Plants book (728types)

My jap hairgrass melted at 32 degrees when i was treating the discus,... now tht the temperature is back to room (28-29 degrees) i'm tempted to try again.. hmm.. wonder if it can survive?

Marrvvellousss....I'm trying to grow a little pot of ordinary hairgrass...
it's a bit gonna grayyy...hardness around 80 PPM...ph 6.8 or so...
will that do anything or do I have to add fertilizerss...anybody??
