Bought a new brand of fish food... Today was scanning through the minerals that it contains, and was quite shocked to see copper as one of the main minerals. Its not stated how much copper is in the fish food though, but will this copper be lethal to the shrimps?

Have been feeding for about 2 weeks now.. Have not experienced mass deaths, but I hope I am not slowly poisoning them... I don't change water often, only occasional top-ups, so what is the possiblilty that the copper will accumulate to lethal levels?

    Please advice, thank you...

Exclamation In your case, stop using the food!

Since you said that you do not change the water often and only top off, the levels of copper will certainly build up! Stop using the food NOW to save yourself greef later Hope everything works out.

    bye.
