Err.. If i'm not wrong, they might be eggs of fishes or snails.

Do you have horned nerites in your tank? If you do, then those spots are the eggs of the nerites... They wouldn't hatch as the salinity of the water is too low... So they will just stay in the tank as ugly white spots...

Thanks guys, thats what I thought but just to be sure from expert aquarists, hmmm, sad that it won't develop but will it any use instead of a sore eyes like food for fishes maybe?...

I have 2 types of snails, unsure what they are but I manage to get a shot of 1. If anyone can id, please, because I was told its an apple snail by a LFS.Untitled.jpg

Nope... If it is apple snail, you would start to see small holes on your plants...
These nerites are good at eating green spot algaes... So it is sort of a compromise between green spots and white spots... Hahah...

Yupz... It looks like a juvenile one... The shell will become a very beautiful rams horn when it grows bigger... Looks like you have enough calcium in your tank... No calcium deficiency lines on the shell...

So that's what they are? Been having a lot of this in my shrimp only tank and have to manually plug it out every now and then.

They are more beautiful than tadpole snails... And some ramshorn snails are red in colour... Adds colour to the tank.. Hahaha...

Hey great info guys especially from valice about calcium by looking at the ramshorn shell thats essential for newbie like me, so another question crops up, if theres sign of calcium lacking how to manage that?
And since im add it might as well ask U guys if its possible to have algae eating shrimps in my 2ft tank of 1 albino cory, a pair of guppy, a pair of sae & a leopard pleco.
