Jungle experience of school teachers

From New Straits Times news (20 April 2006):

"Braving bloodsucking leeches, 20 teachers recently trekked a dense rainforest in their quest to study nature.

Some panicked at the start of the six-kilometre hike, afraid that leeches could jump on them from wet leaves and the soggy ground.

But they knew they were doing the right thing — soaking up the environment so that they could reach out to their students back at school."
