New Tank with cloudy water.

Hi

I am still expericing cloudy water for my new planted tank. Now I am doing 10% water change everyday.

Can anyone advise how I could have crystal clear water? []

If it's a new tank, it's perfectly fine. Sometimes it will last as long as a month. Juzt do 30% water change every 5 days would be fine. Let it clears off by itself. BTW, what do you have in the tank now and how old is the setup?

I have some easy to maintain plants several siamese algae eaters. My plants are all very basic plants. LFS asked me to add Geo Liquid, hope it helps. My CO2 are DIY type, looking for a cheap 2nd hand set.

aviod using chemicals to assist u, its only temporary... all u need is patience.. dun panick and start trying out everything the lfs owner throws at u.. we understand how u feel after seeing the cloudiness state, but let nature take it's own course

Avoid chemicals if you can. But give GEO-Liquid a try, I think it will help.

Plant more fast growing plants.... it will help in you cycling. How old is the setup?

Started the tank on the 15/6/02. Today it seems to be improving. It is a 4ft tank with IOF system. Have also slow down the flow rate to maintain the CO2 level. This is my 2nd planted tank. Started planted tank 3 yrs ago, gave up 1.5 yrs ago. Now my interest is back. Now going to invest on a new CO2 tank again. My whole system I sold to a gentleman staying in Pasis Ris. It is a corner tank, hope he is in this forum.

i would NEVER touch that stuff after they adopted their new tagline
i'm not a monkey
and i doubt any self-respecting monkey would touch that stuff with a 10 foot pole

if you REALLY want to clear it up, any flocculant (i recommend interpet filter aid) and more filter floss will give u crystal clear water in 2 hours
