Badis badis is a small fish
Badis badis will go after the shrimp's eggs. My yamato shrimps got no peace in the tank with Badis badis. Badis badis keep attacking the shrimp eggs.

Are you keeping Badis badis or Dario dario? Badis can grow quite big (relative to shrimps) and take shrimps as supper... Darios get smaller BUT might still be interested in your shrimplets...

That's a Dario dario beneath the driftwood in picture 4, not Badis badis. Also, you do know that Dario dario absolutely takes live/frozen food only, yeah?

    Thanks for all your compliments.

Thank Justikanz, I always though that is a badis badis as that was what I was told by LFS. No wonder when I mentioned I have badis badis in my shrimp tank, no one seem to believe, now I know why...

Hi Kemp, as per your request, here is the whole picture of my tank. Took quite a lot but only these 2 is of better quality, the rest very blur..

Synthesia, I have only one yamato and other fishes to keep the cherry company.. I have attached more picture of the cherry having a feast..

Richietay/Kemp, I did not realise that.. thanks, it was a nice coincidences..

Synthesia, I started of same as you, bought a few tens of cherry from C328 and initialise it just keep dying and I just keep adding, once it stablise, it will keep multiplying. They are very sensitive to heat, there is once I switch off the fan, at least 10 died in one day. So now, I keep the fan running 24 hours a day. As for the coloration, is the plants and mosses that done the job.
