    Hi,
    I got 4 young Wilhelmi which i trade with someone.
    This batch should be sibling.
    Last night, i spotted the female wacking the male, which is a tale tale sign of she guiding her eggs.

    what should i do to the eggs as it from inbreeding?
    let them hatch?
    i have never expect this fish breed at such a young age.
    thanks

    i read from a german discus breeder that his experiments with "tiger" stripe disus got wacky only after F8 or F10.
    then he really had to outcross to reduce inbreeding genetic defects.
    i suppose it depends on your goal.
    breeding for specific trait, to proliferate species so more people can enjoy it, for your own pleasure etc...
