My guess is that the main tap on the co2 tank is not turned wide enough to let a pressurised situation to occur or that the co2 has not been top up.
Hello Bros here,
Recently i'm having this particular problem with my co2 tank which is not regulating properly. Each day i would need to turn the noob a few times a day to adjust the bubble counts. eg. after i sent to 1bps, after 15-30 mins, the bubble will stop, then no more co2 is being supplied to my tank(i judge it by the diffuser because nothing is coming out from it)
At times, i would notice that water will accumulate inside the tubing between my diffuser and my bubble counter.
I was told that such problem could be due to the check valve, wonder isit true?. I was propose to have it remove but i'm afraid water will be suck into my co2 cylinder.
I didn't experience such problem before i sent my tank for co2 top up. Or maybe only for the first few days when i got my tank, i would adjust the noob to regulate the co2 output(but definitely not as frequent as now).
Any advise please? Would be much appreciated. Thanks

You got those cheap throttle valves instead of a normal regulator? Is there a needle valve?

Think you got one of those manual regulators that does not step down the pressure from the cylinder.
Was told by Mr Chan from NA, that even with a needle valve and without step down, the pressure is still too high and therefore not easy to fix the bubble rate!
NA does have manual regulators with step-down.
Hope this help!
Ok. I'm not too sure what i'm having right now should be classified under what. What i'll do tonight, i'll go get a pic of the regulator and show it here.
BFG bro -> what you describe seems to describe my situation, i'm not too sure whether i've opened the top cap big enough. I guess i was too stingy or afraid whether how much turn should i turn on.
Thanks for everyone's advise here.
Kemp, here's the picture of your CO2 cylinder, that time you approach me to help you refill. Guys, by the way the tank is recently refilled.![]()

yes that's right! That's the exact model of co2 cylinder which i'm using right now
That's a throttle valve....pretty much explains everything.

PeterGwee, i having the same CO2 cylinder, for about year plus, have not experienced any irregular CO2 flow. heard from LFS where i do my CO2 refill that this cylinder, don't know what rubber inside the tank tends to spoil easily.
Is this particular CO2 tank more on the inferior type?!?!
Is it nessessary to get those normal regulator rather than a throttle valve?
Peter, do you happen to have a pic of those non-throttle type? Are these throttle valve (as mentioned by richietay) of an inferior quality?

BFG bro, you're right. I've followed your advise and release abit more of the main tap and now my co2 output is regulated.
Thanks for your great help!
