My setup is only a few days and the only plants I have in the tank is spiky moss on mesh as foreground plants. Light source comes from a 36x2 PL light with no CO2. The problem I face is that the water in my tank is cloudy. Did a few water change but condition still remains the same. What seems to be the problem here and how do I overcome it?

Is it cloudy with a green tinge or a whitish tinge?

Green tinge: You have green water. Search "green water" in AQ.
Whitish tinge: You're just experiencing normal cycling of a new tank. The cloudiness will go away. Search "new tank syndrome" on google.

A side note: Just the moss will not do... try to get much more plants as soon as possible. It helps with cycling of the tank too.

Bacteria bloom since it is only a few days... It will go off after the bacteria settles down... Don't change too much water... Will slow down the process...

I did experience that too...my tank only have widow moss and cherry prawn. I actually turn on my filter it did help to reduce a little. It's kind of common for newly set up tank.
Another problem could be due to the soil you are using.

Is it possible if the cloudiness comes from the new water from water change...?
Because sometimes my tank has this cloudiness problem, sometimes it doesn't

Tank is 24x18x18inches. Will have to be patient and just wait then. Will also be doing more planting over the two days.

Not sure whether its a good idea. Afraid it will disturb the perimeters but anyway where can I get this stuff? It'll be my last option if indeed necessary.

Don't spend $$$ on things you don't need... Crystal clear or whatever... It will clear up eventually... so what if your water clear up immediately... You can't put livestock in without endangering them. I Bought so many things along the way and in the end, I don't use them... various test kits (NO3, NO2, NH3/4, PO4, Ca, PH) PH-Pen, etc...

For me, Dr Mallick's LG-Aqua, LG Micro, KH2PO4 and KNO3, proper lighting and CO2 is all I need.

It might... there're a lot of variables. There has been discussion on water changes ruining the entire ecosystem... search the forums (hint: nickname = vinz)
