Looks quite good already. Is it an open-top layout ? MH lighting ? (Looks liked Dupla's style)
May be some more fern and anubias to fill the left/right corner ?
Hi guys looking for some advice on how to improve on this tank, any comments are welcome![]()
Actually its meant to be viewed from both sides, but the rubin on the right grew so big that it looks horrible from the other side. Pardon the poor pic quality too, not too good at taking photographs![]()
(any advice on photography will be helpful too)

I think you need to get more stable hands.
It's giving me a headache.

Or have your camera on a tripot and put on auto.
BTW with open-top, do your fish jumping out frequently ? Mine is also open-top and over the years had the following casualty :
- few yamato
- one small discus (painful lost....)
- one large SAE but was saved quick enough that it survives till today.
Now I added 3" wide clear acrylic strips around the edge of the tank. So far so good.
yeah! i had malayan shrimps jumping out before. Although for some reason they just stopped jumping after the tank settled in?

looks good...neat and tidy...was it mean to be "look thru" from all side? cos i felt it would look better if there's a background attached..![]()
i'm ADDicted to this wonderful hobby
Not bad, just that I would probably have the gratiola thicker![]()
...I love rubies too ...
Ken
Its actually meant for viewing from front & back, because its kind of a room divider between the living and dining..thats why i cant put a background![]()
