    Hi,

Do cherries like to attack others after molting, just like lobster...?
I found on of my cherry red in a "wrong position" in the cherry tank, and observed that other cherries want to eat it, but the "sick" cherry still struggle, so now I exile it in a plastic bowl, it still survive till now.
It colour still beautiful red, not pale.
So I guess some cherries must attack it after it molting...
    Is it possible...?

I've also noticed this behavior alot of times, where the poor unlucky shrimp is whacked to death by its counterparts. However, I am unable to confirm the reason behind it.

    Just wondering...

Do any of you feed your shrimps? Maybe they too hungry and want more food.

I feed my shrimps a little crab cruisine everyday, so I don't think think it is the food problem.. My primary diagnosis is that it is due to the unbalanced sex ratio? I have a higher ratio of male shrimps in my tank, usually(at least so far I've seen) the ones being whacked are females.. and the attackers are male? Just a hypothesis.. yet to be proven.

    Hmm... less food eh..?
Well I try to give more food for fishes so when the food are left or fall to substrate, the shrimps can eat them, also I don't want to feed shrimps to much because I need them to clear off algae...

Imbalance sex ratio, I don't think so...
In my house tank, the amount of male & female shrimp almost the same, but I notice died female shrimp especially the ones carry eggs
