Seems like a tale. I see a small trail that goes into the 2 stones. Looks misterious, very original.
    I like it !

Saw your tank and the first question comes to mind, does your wood have things settling on it causing it to be slimy? I am not sure if this is consistent with other tanks but I realised for my wood, if I do not tie much plants to it, some "slime" brownish in colour starts to form on the wood, and even white fungus starts to emerge.

Do you have a similar problem?

    Hi there,
Feel like chip in mine 2c finding on this.
Fungus and bacteria will grow anywhere in the tank if not attended, and wood is organic means can be "eaten" by bateria and fungus hence you will find lots more there. Some oto or snail will help to clean it.

I like the way your driftwood draws the eye to the right almost the rocks and the path leads the viewer to the front and to the left again to the wood. I look forward to seeing more pictures.

I've seen your tank posted before. I remember I mentioned the rocks should go (too blocky, and doesn't fit with the wood anyway), and the plants must thicken up lots!

    Hi,
    Thanks for all your inputs.

I did encounter the slime on the wood initially, but after the 2nd or 3rd water change, the slime when away and never came back.
I am using just 2x 32W lights + low CO2 to keep the growth slow and low maintenance. However, the growth of the E. Triandra is growing fast! The rest of the plants are moderately slow.

Will post more pictures in a few weeks.

    Thanks.
