well.. decided to set up a temporary place for my plants so ...
being teh scaper and planted freak.. i just could let the chance pass for a chance to scape.. even if it is going to be a temporary tank..

Well... Heres an update of the tank.. Took a crappy photo today... more so because i was lazy to set up everything to take a good shot of the tank, besides i dont think i'm satisfied with the plant layout...i think the app is growing too wildly in the foreground...going to get some HC to substitute it.. Anyone have??pm me leh.. i need submersed one.
still have a lot of room for improvement..perhaps right now i can only say about 50% done..
anyway.. hope you guys enjoy it.. even though its pre-mature and hurried.

That's a good tank! You're right about the APP, can't see the bottom rocks.

i think your tank is on very good way to mature in small miracle
Rocks and plant choice in a background is very good. As for the foreground plant change. I'd use some small species of eleocharis or some moss instead of HC (everyone's got HC, be different )

i kind of like your use of APP as foreground, just need to do some trimming that's all. Maybe you can to consider removing away the japonica which is at the centre of your APP?

thanks V31.. That much is true.. i think i will think of something to incoporate all 3 (Hc, E.Tellenus, and Spikymoss). In nautre, you hardly see a patch of grass that is homogenous..there is almost always 1 or 2 patches of something else..

Kemp..thanks for the comments, To tell you the truth.. the APP is ALREADY trimmed.. thats as short as it will go... hence i feel that its a little too long to be, at least the SOLE foreground plant. I will be removing most if not all of it. I agree with squee that it blocks the rocks...that irritates me. The japonica will stay just because of its leave shape and placement in the tank. Perhaps a little shifting..but they will stay in this tank.

Hahahha.. how exact..
Just today i did some re-scaping on the plants.. Spent some time on friday and saturday getting my wanted plants.. and everything worked out today..
Even got kaki to chat with me to make the process more bearable.. Thanks celticfish..

Anyway, took another crappy photo tonight.. just to give an idea of what it looks like now.. basically just removed the APP and replaced with Rotala sp., Spikymoss, and HC. It definitely looks neater now..I can't wait for this to mature. Then can add my little red schooling fish!!! kekeke..
