I soaked the eheim hoses in boiling hot water poured directly out of the kettle but not the hard plastic Tongkats. For those as well as the diffusers, I use H2O2 or Bleach, the former is tidyier but not as powerful as concentrated bleach but the latter requires an time of rinsing with antichlorine added. 10 minutesexposure is normally all I need.
To rid dried hardness deposits, I subject it to another soak in vinegar.
Somehow, the ugly white brand name stubbonly remains on the pipe
