Oh sorry... forgot about this post... anyway, there's not much to it really. The plant is in a normal plastic pot with a mix of potting soil and aquarium gravel, in a covered planter tray with my other crypts. In growing these crypts emersed, I find that adding NO3 tends to trigger meltdowns (after a couple of months they recover), so I now add only a capful of Profito and a little Equilibrium to the water when I do a change of the water in the tray (about every 2-3 months). The more I leave them alone, the better.
It would be nice to see your entire setup. I am trying one out, just one crypt in a pot with regular soil and regular watering with spray misting once or twice a day. It doesn't get any direct sunlight but it is near a window. The crypt is growing, albeit slowly, putting out about one leaf per month.
It has been several months (4-5 months) since I planted this crypt emersed and it has shed all the old leaves. What you see are all new and emersed leaves, with a new leaf sprouting.
