Mine feed on algae wafers, crab cuisine and sinking wafers!
Maybe you would look at other factors like the water parameters and tank temperatures, which, imo are more important than their diet.
    Hope this helps!!!

feed mine with algae scraps from pond & Koi-pellet, 1 a day. no problem at all. Evo is right, check your water parameters. They are not fussy about food.

First of all, keep moss (need them to survive in your tank, not turn brown). They provide some form of micro-organism for shrimps to eat and also veg diet. They also provide good hiding place for the shrimps.

I just add sinking food or normal fish food (got 10 boraras and 3 clown killies in there). Feed a bit more so the shrimps can get the food too.

Cherries are hardy so if they die, need to take note of water quality. Also best to cycle the tank for 2 weeks or so before getting shrimps (they are more sensitive to water parameters).
