In order to take the night photography, I purposely drove 1 hour from my home to the countryside at Padawan area last night. It was almost the full moon, so the night scenery was very bright like a day light.(no light pollution) I was using ML-L3 remote control to control the shutter release button of my Nikon D50. Focal length is 18mm, exposure time is in between 5 minutes to 15 minutes at f/8. ISO is 400. (I forgot to re set to ISO200, hence the noise is high!!! ). EV is in between +0.3 to +2.
Pix # 1 : The moon & the stars. ( around 11pm)
Pix # 2 : The tree & the stars. The very bright star in the center is actually one of the planets from our solar system.....I am not sure which planet, probably Jupitar????

why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

What da fish!
A comet is passing our earth in these few weeks time.....best time to see them is around June 7 !!! Hope I can see & photograph that comet using a telescope (belongs to my friend).
from CNN : "Schwassmann-Wachmann 3 goes around the sun every 5.4 years, and is on course to make the closest approach of this orbit on June 7. Along the way, it will pass 7.27 million miles (11.7 million kilometers) from Earth on May 12. No piece is projected to hit Earth."
