Hi,
Does ghost shrimp eat algae?
They are primarily scavengers and carnivore to a huge extent. For algae, they are not considered as a good clean up crew.
Something about the water & the fishes that calms me down.
ghost shrimps don't really eat algae, from my observation. they usually go for fish food instead. look for yamato shrimp for algae cleaning instead.
They will anything and everything except algae... Think tubifex worms, blood worms, fish food, small fish etc... But when they grow bigger, the males can look very nice, with those long pincers...![]()
