not quite! there are 15 pieces (12 male & 3 female) lolx 40% of the entire population has growth to a reasonable size. 3 males are sexually driven!! quite territorial and bold!

I have been keeping Weitzmani for about 3 years now, very beautiful fishes but not easily available in Singapore. Dominant males are the most beautiful, prefer a meaty diet too.
Any shops selling them now? Use to order them from Chong Sua aquarium but very sad the shop closed down.

did you use some kind of cave to spawn them, or did they lay under the leaves, when i spawned them i used a plant pot base with a small opening chipped out.
    btw great spawning result.

ya!! 3 years back some weitzmani was given 2 me from a friend of mine. its from Gan as a contaminant from some batch of apisto.thought its a fabulous fish!

Back then! she spawned on the diftwood densely packed with Java ferns. The location where she spawned was quite dark and unconspicuous.
well!! it doesnt matters lolx after all i never anticipate any success

MEaty!! probably as for mine! they practically chew up anything lolx

Never kept them before, but read that they are not easy to keep, and most aquarist can't keep them long enough in the aquaria.

If you can read German, there seems to be quite a lot of information on Michael Schlüter's website, http://www.weichwasserfische.de/poecilocharax.htm. If not, can use Google or Babelfish to translate, but some information may be lost in translation.
