Sorry about my bad grammer in the title

About 5 months ago I went into a local petstore to buy a foxface rabbitfish. (The yellow ones with the black spot) When i tried to buy one, a worker in the store informed me that these particular fish need to be in a school. He offered me 3 foxface rabbitfish for the price listed for one. So i picked up 3 foxfaces. Within a month i lost one of the three. (with three in the tank they all seemed pretty stressed out) Since then i have had the two in the tank together. Everywhere that i read tells me that only one of this species should be kept in a tank, or there will be problems. I havn't had any problems since the 3rd died. Am I setting myself up for failure in the future, or am i ok????

Has anyone experienced multiple rabbitfish in the same tank????

The fish that i have are about 2-3 inches and are in a 75 gallon tank with a 4 inch rectangle trigger, dwarf zebra lionfish, and blue devil damsel

    thanks!

Rabbitfish ard 2-3" is still in a juvenile. If they are not fighting now, it should ne fine but high chances that they will "quarrel" again as they grew bigger.

You may want to be careful of your lionfish and triggerfish attacking it also.

    Cheers

I had read that you can put rabbitfish in with more aggressive fish like triggers because they are venemous, and the aggressive fish won't bother them. I have found this not to be 100% true. My trigger is quite territorial and will nipped the tail fins of both foxfaces from time to time. I've never thought them to be stressed out from this, because they both appear healthy and eat everything that enters thetank. I'm not worried about my lionfish at all, i don't think he knows there's any other fish in the tank.

Anyone have any recommendations of what you think i should do???
am i fine w/ the 2 foxfaces and the trigger???
do i need to get rid of 1 foxface????
should i not have either in the same tank as the trigger????

keep 1 foxface as they do not tolerate their own kind....

unless you have a big tank....
