My rams were fighting amogst themself, no injuries though. It looked more like playing to me. So I just let them be. Had 6 Blue rams and 4 gold rams in my 50 gallon tank, no problems
how many rams can i have in a 2 feet tank?
jon.
I used to have 4 in my 3ft but they fought so much that had to take one out and put into my 2ft. They were so pre-occupied with defining their territory that they ignored food. I guess how many in a tank also depends on the temperament of the individual fish.
keep 1 male with 2 females in a 2ft shld be fine
Your problem will be to identify the females and the males.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
Rams are relatively easy to ID male or female.
Cheers!

If you know what to look for. The problem is sometimes the LFS don't stock the females and then you're looking and looking and still end up going home with all males.
By the way, there's a thread about rams that talk about sexing.
