I'm trying out erect moss for the first time. so a few questions for those who had tried it b4..

Would like to know tat as the name implies, does it really grow Up Wards even if u lay the mesh of it horizontally?

How should one grow it as a fore-ground or as a moss wall?

Is it possible to grow it by juz jabbing it into the substrate?

I've had them for 3weeks, tied to mesh and lying flat on the substrate but the growth is very slow, any suggestion..?

Following my tank spects, 1.5 ft small tank, 18 watts, occasional adding 1 or 2 drop Lush-gro. tank temp range from 25-27deg, having Nanas and Java wind fern. Keeping only Cherry shrimps...

    Thanks!

HI there, Erect moss, as its name suggests, always grow upwards so you dont have to worry about the nature of it. It also requires substantial amount of lighting and i believe your 18W is indeed sufficient for yours. Try to keep it at 26 degrees though
