Correct, they will not cross breed and they will coexist easily, so no worries in that regard.
Here is a link that will help clear things up. Shrimp of the same species can cross otherwise not.

hmmm.. i have 52 Cherries, 5 Grade C CRS
, 1 Grade B Diamond
in my 2ft shrimp tank now...
using a lower grade CRS to test water out... let see how things goes...
got them from C328, when i asked about the water pH that they are using to store the CRS and Diamond, they actually told me that it's pH 7... kind of strange, i thought CRS needs slightly acidic waters to survive... i guess neutral pH is also ok for them...
