ADA's Pollen Glass Beetle reportedly gives the best.
I use a brand called Kare that's alright imho.

you have to consider whether the pressure is enough to expel the CO2 into the water or not first. Diffusor requires higher pressure.
Have you considered internal reactor or flipper?
Cheers,
Andrew
DIY CO2 plus a diffusor makes a mighty bad combo set if you ask me. Unless you upkeep on the brew changing as well as clean the diffusor often, you are likely to run into a lot of problems frequently.

From experience, the Nurtrafin DIY CO2 set does provide enough pressure to push through the diffusor.
Like Peter mentioned, I feel its a bad combination too!
The mixture do not seem to last me as long as injecting through reactor.
Did not really take note, just what i have observed.
Have since changed all to cylinders.
DIY CO2 is too much of a hassles and cylinders would make a better investment in the long-run.
You can try the cheap Dymax diffusor which look very much like regular airstone which come with an elbow.
Find that it produce fine bubbles at low bubles count rate.
For DIY, using internal reactor is still the best if your tank size is large (2 - 3 ft?). Can run 2 bottle connect in parallel with a T joint, and rotate the renewel each week (thus each bottle last 2 weeks). Mix with maximum strength (2 cup sugar 1/2 tsp yeast 1/4 tsp baking soda). Can get close to 2 bps.
For smaller tank size the pollen glass air stone liked Dymax or UP also has one. White color, shaped liked normal airstone with an elbow. Place it near an internal power filter inlet so that the fine bubbles get suck in and then eject out as fine mist., with one DIY bottle I can get 30ppm CO2 in a 1.5 ft.
