Spiky moss scientific name

I did a search on AQ and google, but could not find the scientific name for spiky moss.

Anyone knows?

This page showed, but wonder why peacock moss have the identical scientific name!

because they have only been identified at the genus level. "Taxiphyllum sp." is not a species name, just a moniker to indicate that the plant is known to be in the genus Taxiphyllum but its exact species is not yet ascertained. As with crypts, precise identification can only be done using the sexual organs, as mosses exhibit very different forms under different growth conditions.
