    Hi All,

    Anyone have purchase and use before the lighting equipments JM Combi Light Set Designed by Jireh Marine...seem like very cool, gd and can custom made leh...dun know whether they do it for planted???

    Don't know how much it cost to made 6 ft length with 6 80wat T5 lighting with moonlight.. dun know using hex reflector light, light penetration is there or not..

    How is the performance for 6ft DYMAX STARLITE LAMP too???

    Wow, you really going all out huh. If you do want to get MH lights, 3 x MH 150Ws should be sufficient for your 6 footer. However you'll need to consider what sort of plants, etc you'll be growing.

    I think the moonlight ones are aiming more towards marine tanks.

    MH lights with the spider reflectors are good. But will cost you a bomb as well so will the bulb replacements, etc.

    For planted tanks, I guess T5 tubes would be more sufficient. However if you have the means, why not, go ahead with the MHs

    Hi greyfox,

    Just curoius whether any hobbist here and try it out before for this type of lighiting sys... not really going to spend too much on those very high end type.... T5 lighting is gd enough liao... thinking of the cost of diy kit..thinking use 5ft 80wat X 4 to be fix on top a 8inch plank cover...

    Hey William,

    I'm quite sure there are folks here with MH lighting sets here for sure. If I could turn back time I would've opted for a DIY kit for sure. Cost saver but won't end up looking sleek
