    Hi folks
I am getting a new 2.5ft tank soon, planning to get the eheim 2026
I was thinking to DIY a dual filter inflow and buying the ADA lily pipe

Hopefully the water circulation would be better.
Has anyone DIYed a dual inflow as above? any ill effects to the canister filter ?
    Any advise much welcome

Dual inlet tube? Hmm, the problem I forsee is that you would spend more for the extras than you would have a single inlet. Also, the amount of water entering each inlet MIGHT be more or less than the other inlet. Keep your setup simple. The only recommendation from me is to get the Eheim Installation Set 1 for your 2026. This is just a recommendation. At the end of the day, it is your setup and you must be happy.

I personally think that for a 2.5 ft, the flow challenge can be easy to tackle.

2 x rain bars at the bottom base would be good enough.

    Thanks BFG, grey_fox

The installation set 1 looks like a good option. I have the back of the tank pasted with black oyama ... so the green tubes looks really out of place ... so was thinking of DIY something black... the installation set 1 is grey/black in color right? that might just do it :>

Keeping it simple is definitely a good advise. After reading too much on the internet, was thinking that there might be "dead spot" at those corner of the tanks ... so came out with the idea of having dual input tube for better circulation

I guess i could go with the installation set 1 first ... and keep it simple. Can always modify the setup later if i find any problems with water circulation.

    Thanks folks
