    Hi all

Attach is my new tank setup,

I am not very good at seting up planted tank, just achoc stuff. Hence sorry for being messy all over the tank, do give me your vaulable feedback.

This is a Low tech tank setup, control budget....
    Cooling fan on 24/7
    No CO2 injection
Double filtration--- one submerge Sponge filter with a add on over head filtration.
    Lighting using a double tube--- 70 w
DIY tubing on the overhead filter to create some water movement as well as for airation.

    Thanks

i think you can shift the tall plants and rocks, cave etc to the sides, so that you clear out the center like a clearing. =)

Your lightings seems too much. But, how big is your tank? Secondly, I think it will be good if you trim off some old leaves of your java fern before algae starts to grow on it.

    Oh mine is a 3' x 2' x 2' tank.

So is that ok with 70W lighting? Because I do find some elgae growing.

As for the old leave on the african Fern, ok will try to trim it off. By the way I understand that African fern do not require high lighting right?

Will try to make some changes and update with new picture here.
