I am keeping some cryto sp. Nice plants. Give it a try.
Got my plants from PE-WE alley. I think there are places which sell them cheaper. I saw some at Teo's yesterday.
BC
teo has A LOT of crypts for pocket change
the wendtii i got from them are 10x cheaper than those elsewhere
some things to take note of
they're primarily root feeders (need more base fert/supplements to really grow well), don't need much light, and tend to melt easily
until they stabilise, you can expect to see a lot of melting
just stick with them, and they'll be good
they can take up to a few months to establish themselves, so be patient
Francis, try out the easier cryptocoryne species like wendtii, lucens, parva etc first. Once u acquired the experience to handle them, then go for the more difficult ones.![]()
will heading down to Teo to pickup some.thks guys.kum sia.

When my fishes are happy, I'm happy.
