Hi guys, its been awhile since I posted in this forum due to work committments...

But now I have decided to take the plunge and get a chiller for my 3x2x2 tank. I was thinking of getting a more powerful chiller. In my opinion its better to get a more efficient chiller than a less powerful one. However, I am not sure which one to get. An Arctica is definately out of the question as it is out of my budget. Anyone can recommend one? Letting me know the price would also be greatly appreciated.

Currently I'm using 2x150 watts of MH and fans but the temp is still high. As a result, none of my plants are doing too well except the crypts...
Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the fire that burns against the cold, the light that brings the dawn, the horn that wakes the sleepers, the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come.

I've been using several brands based on quality & budget so I rank asf:
    1. Teco (long lasting almost maintenance free but the most expensive)
    2. JBJ Artica (very efficient cooling, compact size)
    3. Azoo (less expensive then JBJ but no doubt on quality although size slightly bigger than JBJ Artica
    4. Resun (affordable/budget price, for small tank CL-280 is durable)

    Hope helps...

LightHammer, a Resun CL-450 might be adequate but if you want a better one for your tank, get 1 model up like the CL-650.
If you've learnt, teach, if you have, give.

Mohamad Rohaizal is my name. If it's too hard, use BFG. I don't mind.
