What type of road show are you talking about?
What companies are involved?
There seems to be some kind of road show at junction 8 starting from yesterday. Anyone visited it yet? Me making a trip down today to look see look see. Just felt that these are not well advertised and want to go also didn't know. Maybe we should try to "advertise" here and use this opportunity to rouse interest in the local community.

Before, we rush to fish farms. Now, fish farms come right to our doorsteps.
I’m curious if this is a tell tale sign that all is not well with the aquarium industry. They’re doing this either to up bottom line or simply to stay afloat. I get the sense that the aquarium industry is languishing what with waning interest in the hobby. Me? I’ve not stepped into a LFS for months, and I wonder if I’m speaking for many out there as well. When customers don’t come to you, you go to them, right?
LFS that are suffering should blame those hobbyists who cursed the LuoHans when they were high and mighty in their heyday.![]()
Those people that saw you are lunch time crowd on Tuesday (1st day).Originally Posted by richietay
Should have more people on weekends. Anyway, the prices aren't compelling enough to make me make any impulsive purchase. IMO, not expensive, but no tempting discount either.
Dropped by the road show just now. Think overall, the show is to stirr up interest among the general public into fish keeping. Don't have much complicated stuff or too difficult fish.
But I think some of the staff may not be too well trained. I was looking at this Arcadia 2ft light, then a sales person came to me. As there are no price label, I asked him how much is it. He couldn't give me a definate answer, just "hummm....er..about $xxx." How can a customer make a decision to buy or not with that kind of answer? haiz.... Then I ask him is it a T5 or a T8 light. He goes..."yes, yes". I give him a benefit of doubt as he might not hear my question clearly with all the background noise, so I ask him the question again, closer to his ears and spoke slower. He goes "Humm....Errrr.. Yes, Yes". With that, I just walk out. Haiz....
I don't normally expect many exotics at such shows and feel they're there more to attract new hobbyists.![]()
But I saw something like 2 or 3 Eheim ProIII on display there!![]()
P-L-E-C-O-R-Y=M-A-N-I-A!!! YEAH!
FLORENCE, capital of the region of Tuscany, has a population of around half a million inhabitants, spreads on the banks of the Arno, between the Adriatic and the Tyrrhenian seas, almost in the middle of the Italian peninsula. It is a city which bustles with industry and craft, commerce and culture, art and science.
