Worth to upgrade from PL to T5?

Currenlty I have a 4x2x2 ft tank. Using 2PL per housing kind of lighting. I have 3 set of those in total and thus have 6x36w lighting power. Would it be good to upgrade to T5 with 54wx6 lighting? I saw NA selling 3xT5 per hosuing type and also the 4xT5 per housing type.

For my case, Chan recommend 3xT5 per housing type and buy two set of those. BTW, it is worth to go for it from my current PL setup? Meaning what are the advantages? Please advise if possible. Thanks.
