    Hi,

Is there other way to remove snails from shrimp tank? Puffer fish attack baby shrimps like laser beam, fast. While I tried manually removal, it useless because snail lays many eggs.

Any commerical products that is added to water but is safe for shrimps?

    Thanks.

Have this problem also currently but as snail population is still under control, I just crush them and let the shrimps eat the snail corpses.

OT abit. How to remove those tiny white creature that look like daphnia. Any thing that will eat it but not the shrimps?

eddyq, would say job be tougher to rid snails if shrimps are in presence, but will encourage one to take action before it gets more problem.
There's actually quite a number of past thread talking about snail problems, manage to source out one relating to having snails in shrimp tank. http://www.aquaticquotient.com/forum...ighlight=snail

Any commercial products that eliminate sanils will harm your shrimp. Both are invertibrates and that is what the products are targeting! Try to bait the snails with a piece of veggie and then take it out when it is covered with snails. Best wishes with your tank.

Thank you guys for your suggestion and kind replies.

Richietay, I was the one who brought red cherry shrimps from you and now trying a shrimp tank. Both my planted and shrimp tanks, the cherries breeds very well.

Neon Shrimp, thanks for the information.
