your malayan shrimps probably into hiding.

overall look quite good, well positioning of plants, just that the driftwood rather distracting but still ok. hope to see how your scape progress couple of weeks time.

Just wondering whether it's better to have some plants tied on the top of the DW to make it look like a tree but I worry the plants tied on the tree will block the light

If you dose it that way, make sure your lights and co2 are kept up.

For my highlight 3ft stem plant tank, i am using 2 x 150W MH, alternate day of fertilizer dosing (FERKA of course, Aquatilizer and BalanceK 100ml / dose). CO2 is bubbling at 4-5 bps. I trim the tank about once / 1.5-2wk.

I do not dare to dose too much each time. just 10-20 percent of the recommended dosage only. I don't know this is ok or not.

might consider adding some plants in the mid-ground, especially the right and left most part. can consider the common ones, B.japonica.

but still the scape is still young, will love to see how it progress!!

The driftwood seems a bit to big for the scape of the tank, my suggestion since its in tha tank already, try gettin some moss on the wood, will definately be easier to blend with the long run scape especially so after the foreground starts to grow and carpet.

100ml/dose is really a lot!! can finish a bottle in a very short period!
