    With all the craze on CRS- Thought you guys might be interested to know how the present CRS comes about, the initial ones looks nothing like how it looks now

    All thanks to him that we able to appreciate such wonderful shrimps apart from those fanciful marine shrimps.

    How come those CRS look so different from those here.
    Corydoras: 2 x adolfoi, 1 x agassizii, 5 x albino aeneus, 3 x arcuatus, 4 x atropersonatus, 3 x axelrodi, 6 x axelrodi variante B, 4 x caudimaculatus, 5 x duplicareus, 8 x goldlines, 3 x kanei, 3 x loretoensis, 6 x melini, 4 x panda, 6 x schwartzi, 3 x similis, 4 x sterbai, 4 x surinamensis, 5 x trilineatus, 4 x tukano & 3 x zygatus

    RIP 1 x adolfoi, 1 x albino aeneus & 2 x panda

    those were the earlier batches of crystal red shrimps he discovered. through numerous evolvement, and how the shrimps had become today.

    Interesting, so if someone were to breed lower grade CRS they could produce high grade shrimp by selectively breeding. This is an option for those who do not want to spend high $$$ for high grades. But they must know how to keep and breed the CRS well!

    ya, time = money. If it takes years, you are also spending quite a fees to do all those experiment and stuffs

    Yes, that would take years and money, just look at the number of years he spent and the number of shrimps just to get the reds stable from the humble black and white bee shrimps it's possible, if you have the dedication and determination plus the above..

    I see what you are all talking about ! I will not even try unless I had all that time and money to spend on the project . But I am happy that someone took the time to provide us with the CRS we have today .

    for me, probably what the market has, what probably turned up in my tank, wouldn't even have thought about this. Erm....isn't he a genius?! Extraordinary maybe!!
