The next time u wash your canister filter, becareful bcos I found two of my missing CRS in there and three Boraras brigittae and some cherry shrimps in there!, Dont turn on the surface skimmer too strong, it will suck them in!

Sometimes, it is the shrimps who decided to walk into the filter themselves... I witnessed myself yesterday one of my cherries decided to do a walk up my HOF into the filter... Opening up to "rescue" it, I see a gathering in there or baby cherries...

It is the perfect place for shrimps... There is food and there are no predators around. I am way overdue my external filter cleaning period... Wonder if I can find a colony of shrimps there... Heh heh...

For a record, I have found kulie loaches, some shrimps, a small eel and a lot of large malaysian trumpet snails in my canister filter.
