Ah..I feed Sera Spirulina Tablets and Hikari Algae Wafers, sometimes a piece or 2
bloodworms to see them tussle over it. Heard you bought the wrong type of sprulina food and bought the flakes. If you have fish, you can feed them the flakes since spirulina is great for improving colours.

-hikari lionhead?
-hikari saki?
Cheers![]()
I have not tried the foods named by Freshman. If you have please tell us how they are for your shrimp.
I feed my shrimp Omega One veggie rounds, Hikari crab cuisine, pure Hawaiian Spirulina, and started to try boiled spinach.
Oh dear... you mean there are feeds for shrimps???![]()
I thought they just eat algae, dead fishes and dirt on plants?
Yeah, I'm a real newbie!![]()

Ocean free algae tablets. all i can find in malaysia

I didn't know shrimps need to be fed either. One LFS I checked with told me that they do not need to be fed as long as I have moss in the tank. But when my shrimps started to die one by one after 2 weeks, I am concerned they may be starving to death. So I tried feeding them with one small piece of cut up prawn from my fridge, glad to see all the shrimps gather and nibble at it for the whole day!!

Try not to believe everythign the LFS guy saysHalf the time they just want you to kill what you've bought so you'll come back and buy them again. Only then they'll say "Oh.. because your house is too cold, buy heater lah!"
Anyway, i've fed my shrimp:
Algae wafers
Hikari Lionhead
Catfood
boiled chicken
Fish Roe(they LOOOOVE this stuff)
Sera bits

Boiled chicken?? hmm.....interesting![]()
