I'm amazed how some of the guys in this forum who took photos of the various fishes and they are SO crystal clear.

I've tried with my Nikon Coolpix 4200 with various settings but I just can't get a clear one. It always has that glass reflection.

My guess is that you guys use underwater camera? Or am I missing some tips on taking photos of fishes?

Haha... We don't use an underwater camera... Just a camera and an external flash...

If you don't want to see a reflection of yourself in the pictures, don't use your onboard flash, pump alot alot of light onto your tank... And shoot away... Else, get another camera which supports an external flash... External flash does wonders when the setup is correct... Regardless of whether you are using a P&S or a DSLR...

Not sure if there will be any phototaking sessions soon. But if you are interested, can let us know and we would be glad to show you how we shoot the fishes... =)
