    wonder if it is possible to walk along the ridge line all the way to the coast?

    Ehhh....it doesn't looks interesting if u see it on the ground. That is Lupar line. Sarawak is made up of 2 geologically areas, divided by Lupar river (or near that ridge)
    Sarawak west of Lupar river is part of ancient Sunda shield, most of the rocks are about 80 million years. For central & northern Sarawak(north of Lupar), rocks are younger than 80 million years.
