    Can Root monster be used as Base Fert?

    I have quite a lot of root monster. I wonder whether they can be used as base fert as I dont like to mess up the sand when I uproot nest time.

    Should be okay to use as base fert. Bury the quantity required deep inside such that there is no algae bloom is you disturb the area.

    Thanks a lot!! Set up a tank last Saturday and now feel that my base is too thin. That's why now the only possible way to rectify is to insert my existing root monster

    guess that's the only way, if u find the root monster too big, cut them into 2, that's wat i'm doing now.

    It's 2 inches now. Going to add somemore to make it 4 inches at least.

    Ocean free has another version of root monster where it is sold as a loose version.
