How fast do plants grow?

Hiya all,

Im new to all these things, am thinking that while i wait for the slower growing plants, i would really like to see some plants grow to keep the interest up and know that i am doing things right...

so can u tell me how fast do these plants generally grow, i've got hc, hairgrass and annubias so far...

also can u recommend a good fast growing plant and a plant that can release oxygen streams...

Well Anubias will grow the slowest for you, while hairgrass will spread faster.

Riccia is the one you are looking for With good light CO2 and fertilisation any plant can release oxygen bubbles.

Riccia will definitely pearl for sure... however... are you sure you want riccia in your tank, to begin with?
