    Hi all,

I'm emptying my previous hell-on-earth creation... going to set up a (approx) 1ftx1ftx1.5ft tank.

planning to lay some base fert into tank. But how thick a layer of base fert will be enough? (going low tech, no CO2, tank fully automated (again!))

also, on top of the base fert, how much gravel to layer? I'm using those normal kind - white, brown & black small stones (lapis?)

Thank you so much... it's tiring to attempt creating a heaven for the fish again and again... hopefully this major architectural project for the fishes will be my last one in a long while to come... heh heh heh

What plants you intending to keep?? Can consider ADA soil without base ferts and E.I dosing.
