Consistancy is a good thing..haha.. Actually if every year the number of participants increase and you always stay around 4xx then you must be getting better mah right? This year got 959 entries leh..

Agree. Consistency is a good thing.

I submitted the same tank as last year's with slight changes. So did Fei Miao. And our layout rankings remain about the same as last year's.

This reflects the consistent ranking by the ADA folks. Seems like "art is relative" is not true for them.

So - must do something more different next round.

No.. i mean it is relative to each individual.. so even more true if your tank remains in roughly the same position.

e.g. Mr. lee judges a tank to be 50/100.. he will always judge the tank to be 50/00... give the tank to Mr. Ooi and he judges it 75/100.. This is the relativity i'm talking about.. each views a tank differently. The fact that they are consistant in their socring means they have a good system.. ti doesn't mean your tank ain't nice.. you just dont have what they are looking for according to their system... that is relative art..

My goal is NOT to remain constant... I want to move up 200 spots... Heh heh...

Benny's right... At least I participated and felt great, even if my tank will appear as small a small picture at the back pages... At least mine appeared... Thanks to Benny, Ranmasatome and Valice for helping to take pictures of the tank!

My 'guppy' tank will actually be ready for another shot soon... with the plants growing well and the tank looking almost completely different... Haha... Just need some work on algae control...

PSLE = Plant Scaping Layout Evalution?

to all for submitting your entries! Never hit top X numbers nevermind. Important thing is participating and putting AQ on the aquascaping map.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

Having heard you guys receiving results, I rushed home and to my surprise my layout is ranked 88 Although not top ranking, i am now as happy as the Italians as I hope to see my tank picture in the ADA book. erm.. could i??

This is my first entry. I had never considered to send any entry for ADA contest as i didn't think my tank layout was good enough. I posted picture of my "90 gal moss tank" 3 days before the closing date for improvement advice and received encouragement from you guys to send it for the contest.

Special thanks to juggler who had so helpfully arranged for our entries to be sent to ADA. Also thanks to Hii who had even volunteered to take picture for my tank but both of us didnt have the time.

    To all participants, congrats !
