Thanks Hii. I also remember that you were kind to suggest that you would take pictures of my tank but we didn't meet as both of us were not free before the deadline for submission. Thanks

The Happiest of people don't neccessary have the best of everything;
they just make the most of everything that comes along their way
When will there be 25 letters in the alphabets?
Maurice Cheong,
If you had used white sand foreground(and removed the small foreground Blyxa?), added some more fish, used the hair dryer for the water's surface, I bet you would have placed quite a bit higher without much change.
These are small items but will really make a difference in your placement.
Regards,
Tom Barr
Thanks Tom for your advice and I agree fully.
I felt ashamed when i see the rest of the entries. The photo taken by the rest were so tastfully done. Mine was the worst of the lot.![]()
I should have prepared more for the photo shoot. It was all done in a hurry.
Yes, it would be nice to have white sand foreground and nice water surface movement. I would add that the pearling of bubbles should not be there at all.
The foreground plant is utricularia graminifolia, freshly planted and it was such a mess.
I will try harder, learn more and be more prepared next time.
Rgds
Maurice

Looking forward to the book with its glossy photos!
Am curious about judges comments though, but guess that will not see the light for non-top prize winners..
All updated..and i think from doing all the organising..i have a feeling what they are looking for... lets see how i do next year..to see if i'm correct in my guess.
