Amazonian is dark, brings out the colour of light colours fishes...
Hi guys,
I've decided that I would be using one of the above ADA soil for my new aquarium but cannot decide which one. I like the brown colour of the Africana and Malaya ones but the Amazonia seems to be more popular here. Why?
It'd be great if some of you could tell me what you are using and why you chose it. Cheers.

I think it's the opposite, Amazonia is the best in pH-lowering ability.
Amazonia is dark too. Africana is not bad... I used it before I used Amazonia and I was quite happy with it. It's a more natural earth tone, but not that good as Amazonia imho
Malaya is the most uncommonly seen. It's a light yellow brown tone.
i'm attracted to amazonia more because of it's colour, it's a nice contrast to the plants
