What type of algae is this? and how can i get rid of it. The tank is a 2 feet tank with a 15 watt light. It's filter is powered by a air pump.
The tank was doing fine all along, until I added a DIY Co2 to try out, it is pumped into a container to let it dissolve manually. Supposedly, the air pump will drive out most of the Co2. However, this algae start growing once I added the Co2, the erect moss inside started turning brown.
The tank is kept at around 24 degree Celcius. Thanks.

When you add Co2.. you need to change your regime because the entire system now shifts to a different form of carbon uptake. You can't just add co2 and then stay on the old non-co2 regime and expect everything to be the same. It is an Entirely different system... so now you must decide.. do you want co2 or no co2.. plants grow well either way.. just that with co2.. they grow faster and you're definately going to spend more time and effort on the tank.
