    They didn't really like pellets... but will still take it once in a while... Like all fishes, they loved bloodworms...

    But sadly, I only have these pictures as rememberance for them... As they apparently are great jumpers! THey jumped out the tank... One week after the other...

    Hmm..mine are still faring pretty well. No jumping accidents yet. I feed them on bloodworms too.

    Any definitive ID on this? Here is some food for thought.

    I was googling around when I found some goby websites and something that look close to this.

    Could it be Oligolepis acutipennis? Picture is rather small on this Japanese website, www.shizenhaku.wakayama-c.ed.jp but the black band under the eye is rather telling. The shape and pattern of the fins looks rather similar too.

    Oh, there was an earlier thread from that site where HH identified it already. Sorry, never update on this thread. Thanks for the information.

    Anybody knows the etymology of O. acutipennis? Seems like sharp (acuti) part of a certain anatomy...
