In Taipei, the shops are usually all over the place. However, there is a short section at Ming Quan Tong Lu (Ming Quan North Road) 5th section. There are about 10 or 15 shops together, where you can find fishes, plants and equipment. Take note that most electrical equipment are 110V instead of the 220V that we use here.

If you are into special plants, then try Qiao Yi Shui Zhu at 70 or 170 Ming Shen Tong Lu 2nd setion. It's a shop on the second floor that specalised in rarer plants and smaller fishes such as dwarf cichlids, tetras, corydoras, killifishes etc. One of my favorite.

If unsure, pick up a copy the the Taiwanese magazine Aquazoo before you go. Addresses and telephone numbers are in there. You can't go wrong.

Bringing fishes and plants back to Singapore is fine if you pack properly and in small quantities.

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

Not the most popular of aquatic magazine here, but I'm sure you can try C328 at Clementi Ave 2. They should have something more up to date. Alternatively, try to contact mad scientist. He writes catfish articles for them.

Nei Hu area also have a few 10+ LFS within an area. Just ask the people there where are the LFS. They should know as Nei Hu isn't big. There was 2 near Jian Tan Metro station (Jian Tan is the stop to go to shi Lin market)
