i like the design of this tank, i'm new to aquascaping but i like all the open spaces it's much easier for seeing the fish you will put in there.
btw that eye on your blog is mesmerizing haha

still can't see the pix here.
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

I like the layout of the first tank. Good placement of rocks and it gives a very spacious feeling. Well done!
Level the front white sand to complete this nice layout.

Um, I can't see any picture![]()
Strange? I can see the pics, initially when I see the first pic I didn't like the rock placements ... but I see when the plants grew in it looks okay, trimmings would thicken the growth of the stem plants and that would be better, do keep us posted on this tank.do level out the river sand in the fore-ground, looks abit untidy now.
...I love rubies too ...

i like the use of the substrate. Nice!
i like the white sand feeling...nice!!!

I like the presentation of the white sand. The white sand looks like the surf of the sea lapping on an island.
However, it doesn't feel quite right with that triangular rock on the left.

You are a good scapist, but...........you have poor rocks!!!
You need to really think about buying or finding some nice rocks for your tanks!!!
The rest looks great, go out to the country side and look around, perhaps buy some if you have too etc.
I've found wonderful rocks here but we are blessed with many types of rocks/geology here in California, USA.
You might have to look longer/harder.
The other option is switch over to using wood, branches etc
You might also try terracing more, wood can be used for this as well.
Nice tanks.
